Preparations for the launch/ Liquor Modernization Project (LMP) are ramping up. In the next few months, you can expect to see a variety of activities in and around your stores. Some of the highlights of those activities include:
SCANNERS: Scanners should have been picked up by your auditor. A refurbishing of the hand scanners will be provided for use with wholesale picking and retail inventory activities*
WIRELESS: You will be contacted by RF-Works to schedule your wireless upgrade. This upgrade will replace the existing Aruba wireless routers with new Cisco Wireless Access Points (WAPs)*
WAREHOUSE: The consolidation of DOLC’s liquor warehousing activities into two new Distribution Centers, located in Groveport and Green. Warehouse receiving is scheduled to begin April 3, 2017 in Groveport and April 27, 2017 in Green.
RETAIL TERMINALS: The transition to upgraded Retail point-of-sale systems via Clover Stations or Web API options is in process
CLOVER: Clover data migration steps will be communicated before Mid-March. Clover units should arrive at the end of March. Please store the Clover unit until further instructions.
WHOLESALE: The deployment of a new wholesale terminal will enhance Wholesale Order Management. Wholesale terminals will be shipped prior to cutover. Please store terminal until further cutover instructions.
PORTAL: Cutover to an the new Liquor Portal 2.0 will take greater advantage of the Microsoft AX business operations software suites.
ROADSHOWS: Roadshows are expected to be held Tuesday through Thursday over a 2 week period. Roadshows will demonstrate the capabilities of the scanners, Clover stations, wholesale terminals, and the Enterprise portal.
TRAINING: Instructor led Portal, Wholesale, and scanner training will begin in April. Expect to be trained two weeks prior to your cutover date.
